New Course – Discover Aircraft Building – Being Offered in Massachusetts
Mark June 28-29 on your calendar as the EAA SportAir Workshop program travels to North Andover, MA (just north of Boston) as guests of EAA Chapter 106 to present a new two day course: “Discover Aircraft Building” on the weekend of June 28-29th. Experience the four basic techniques of aircraft building: Wood Construction, Composite Construction, Fabric Covering and Sheet Metal assembly in this fast paced comprehensive introduction to building your own airplane. The two day program is being offered to EAA members at a special price of $195. Don’t have the time to devote two days? On Saturday evening, June 28th, EAA will present “What’s Involved In Kit Building” a 2 ˝ hour seminar that covers the basics of how to get started, including planning, selection, workshops, building, certification, flight testing, insurance and more. The seminar also includes Pizza dinner and a special resource guide for all attendees This seminar is offered at the same location and the cost is $25 for EAA Members. Canadian Chapter Offers SportAir Workshops in May
EAA Chapter 1410, High River, Alberta, Canada will offer two workshops on the weekend of May 3-4, 2008. The Chapter will offer RV Aircraft Construction and Electrical Systems concurrently during this weekend session. EAA Chapter 1410 offers these workshops directly under license from EAA SportAir. Earn Your FAA Repairman / Inspection Certificate for your ELSA Airplane
EAA SportAir workshops offers a weekend workshop, approved by the FAA, that will allow you to obtain a Repairman/Inspection certificate for your airplane certificated in the Experimental Light Sport Aircraft (ELSA) category. The certificate will allow you to perform the annual condition inspection on your airplane. Check the Workshop Schedule for information on upcoming dates.
